Info
Taiwanese crooner Sam Lee is regarded by many as the "prince of love song", for he has come up with numerous karaoke favorites in the last 10 years. But he is not content to be simply a singer, so for his latest album, he also stepped behind the scenes, serving as his own producer and songwriter on several tracks. Just in time for the festive season, the nostalgic first plug from the new album is a Mandarin remake (adapted by lyricist Ge Da Wei) of the famous American oldie My Grandfather's Clock, a song that Japanese singer Hirai Ken also modernized several years ago. Other picks off the album include the title track "Forgive Me For Not Saying" penned by Francis Lee; a ballad for the brokenhearted titled "Cut the Song"; a duet with Melody Yang called "Time Difference"; and "Steal Happiness" which is remade from an early Darren Hayes song.
